Hi all,
Just said I would open this forum up, my name is Debbie (Deborah, Deb) whatever I am pretty easy... I work under the name of Lila Fitness and I am based in Ireland. I am a yoga instructor and I have always loved dance, my dream when I was little was to be a ballet dancer ... em that did not transpire but I have always loved the grace and poise and when I saw the first advert for BBF I was hooked.
One of my favourite movies is FAME and more recently Step Up... yes you could say I am a little addicted to anything Dance related.
I am so glad that I am a part of this community and that it showed up at the right time for me as I don't think I would have been brave enough to click that link. I am loving sharing the class and in this lockdown world we live in it is a wonderful distraction. I had been teaching Aerial Yoga, which unfortunately can only be taught in a studio as not everyone had the luxury of having a hammock at home and what I love about this is that all you need is yourself and a chair to work. I miss the studio in Ireland and I look forward to seeing real people again and not just through a zoom screen but I am most grateful for yoga and for BBF to be able to deliver these classes via zoom at a time when things are difficult for everyone and we can get out of our heads for an hour or so.
I hope everyone is keeping save and well in these testing times and I look forward to a time where we can meet in person give one another a hug and know that we are safe doing so.
In the meantime I know that I can enjoy learning more (my other favourite thing to do, expand the mind a wonderful muscle) and deliver great things for those waiting to receive.
Stay safe everyone and if you want to see who I am you can follow me on Instagram @lilafitnessire oh I forgot to mention why Lila Fitness. Well the Lila means Devine Play in sanskrit and I love to enjoy my exercise, so when I started in yoga it was in Aerial Yoga and I have lots of fun playing in that ... Now I am a qualified 500RYS Yoga instructor (floor) (fully grounded Ha Ha) and I still like to enjoy what I do and now I have brought BBF into the fold there is more fun to be had.
I look forward to being a part of the BBF community.
